The Belarusian Energy and Environmental Forum (Energy Expo) - the largest international business and exhibition event of the Republic of Belarus in the field of energy-efficient equipment, technologies and materials for the energy sector - took place in Minsk on October 17-20.

The forum was attended by representatives of the group of JSC Rusatom Service companies - including JSC ETC GET, GET LAB LLC, as well as the branch in the Republic of Belarus of BelAtomService CJSC.

General Director of BelAtomService CJSC Sergey Sharabanov spoke about service maintenance of the Belarusian NPP as an example of effective partnership, describing, among other things, the positive experience of interaction with JSC Belenergoremnaladka within the framework of the scientific-practical conference “ESG-transformation and sustainable development”. Within the framework of the round table “Information technologies as a tool to improve the efficiency of the fuel and energy complex enterprises” introduced JSC ETC GET - Managing Director Alexey Kovalevich and Project Manager Konstantin Kireenko shared their experience in the creation and implementation of analytical simulators for nuclear power plants, talked about the role of mathematical modeling of production processes at industrial and energy enterprises, paying special attention to the digital product REPEAT. REPEAT is designed to create mathematical models of complex plants and processes in the energy sector, including the creation of digital twins. Its application contributes to increased efficiency of power facilities, reduced cost of production processes, reduced outages and unforeseen incidents.

The forum participants also had a unique possibility to try their skills and learn how to simulate various processes at REPEAT within the framework of the equipped workplace. The forum site also hosted the workplace of JSC ETC GET where the wide possibilities of the analytical simulator for NPP were demonstrated, allowing real-time simulation of all plant operation modes.

The International Conference “The Role of Nuclear Energy in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals” was held during the forum under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus and with the organizational support of Rosatom State Corporation, where participants from Belarus, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan discussed global trends in the development of nuclear power generation. The speeches by representatives of the State Corporation at the sessions and round tables of Energy Expo were focused on the impact of Belarusian NPP on the economic, social, scientific and technical development of the country, achievement of sustainable development goals.
