Rusatom Service JSC team is glad to announce that it has signed a contract with JNPC (Tianwan NPP) to upgrade two full-scale simulators for power units 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Tianwan NPP.

ETC GET JSC is the contractor under the contract. The scope of upgrade includes software and equipment upgrade and testing at the customer's site, as well as technical support.

The core of full-scale simulator (FST) is a software package – a digital twin of NPP power unit, which simulates all modes of NPP operation in real time: normal operation, design accidents and beyond design basis accidents.

FSS are used to solve the following main tasks:

initial training and retraining of operating personnel;

maintaining the level of professional training of operating personnel;

practicing interaction within a shift (crew);

• practical training and practical examination of personnel;

• emergency response training;

• development of training programs for personnel advance training;

• training of training center instructors;

• simulation of real NPP accidents and their analysis.
