Scheduled maintenance of Tianwan NPP power unit 3 completes

April 19, 2020, marked a significant event for the Tianwan NPP. Power unit 3 was connected to China's power grid after a scheduled mid-life maintenance. Despite the restrictive measures related to COVID-19, the entire scope of work was completed ahead of schedule within just 31 days. The power unit was successfully repaired by JNPC with constant remote support from Rusatom Service JSC and our Russian partners. It was made possible due to professionalism, thorough organization and coordinated work of Russian and Chinese specialists. For more effective interaction with the foreign customer, we set up contact working groups in each area: mechanics, control and monitoring systems, industrial television, metal and welds inspection. Services were provided remotely in a timely manner: by means of videoconferences and other means of communication, while observing all the necessary safety standards. Completion of the scheduled maintenance would not be possible without technical support of Rusatom Service JSC and 8 Russian companies: RADICO, SRC Kurchatov Institute, SNIIP-Systematom, Atommashexport, Izhorskiye Zavody, NIITFA, NIIPT Rastr JSC, DIAKONT. Rusatom Service JSC thanks the partners for their valuable contribution to the implementation of this project!
