The team of Rusatom Service JSC is pleased to announce that the open tender launched in September 2019 has successfully completed. It resulted in signing a contract for upgrade of the neutron flux monitoring system (NFMS) for power units 5 and 6 of Kozloduy NPP. The NFMS plays a crucial role in NPP safety and is intended to operate in the control and protection system (CPS) of VVER. NFMS upgrade is a highly important project, therefore the Chief Designer of Kozloduy NPP reactor units OKB GIDROPRESS JSC, and the Scientific Director of the project SRC Kurchatov Institute will be involved in developing of working and technical documentation. The Russian company SNIP-Systematom CJSC, which has all the required references and experience in implementing such projects, will be the manufacturer of the main equipment. Rusatom Service JSC has already implemented such large-scale projects for Kozloduy NPP as extension of service life of power units 5 and 6 and upgrade of generating equipment to increase the capacity up to 104% of the rated capacity.
